About George
Born in the north-east of England, George developed a love for the natural world through days spent hiking in the Lake District and exploring the outdoors. It was during these early experiences that he first picked up a Canon DSLR, sparking a passion for capturing the beauty of the landscapes and wildlife around him.
After university, George spent several years in a corporate sales role but felt drawn to explore the world beyond the constraints of a 9-to-5 lifestyle. In 2020, he took a leap of faith, leaving his job to travel and fully immerse himself in nature photography.
From Australia’s vibrant wildlife and marine ecosystems to Canada’s rugged wilderness and iconic large mammals, George has honed his skills across a range of photography disciplines, including landscapes, wildlife, and underwater imagery. Highlights of his career include working as an underwater photographer on the Ningaloo Reef during Whale Shark and Manta Ray seasons and serving as a Black Bear Guide & Photographer in British Columbia.
Alongside building a portfolio of striking imagery from around the world, George has secured various freelance projects, showcasing his ability to deliver high-quality work for both creative and commercial purposes.
Through his photography, George aims to inspire a deeper connection to nature, raise awareness of conservation issues, and contribute to efforts that protect and restore our fragile planet.
